Settl vs Lasso

Lasso is a checkout and payments platform with a cart builder, upsells, subscriptions and routing across several payment processors. Settl is a simpler Lasso alternative for Shopify stores: your own branded checkout on your own provider, a flat monthly price and nothing taken from your orders. Both can fall back to a backup provider when a payment fails; Lasso goes further with 20+ processing options, including its own, and chargeback tools.

Questions

Is Settl a good Lasso alternative?+

For most Shopify stores that want a branded checkout on their own payment provider, yes. You pay a flat monthly price and Settl takes 0% per order. Settl also has payment failover, checkout A/B tests and subscriptions. If you want Lasso's own payment processing or its chargeback tools, Lasso is the better fit.

How much does Lasso cost compared to Settl?+

When we checked in October 2026, Lasso's Growth plan was $199 per store per month (or $149 billed yearly) plus 1% per transaction. Settl is €29,99 a month for the checkout, or €49,99 with tracking, and nothing per order. Your payment provider's own fees apply with both.

Can I use more than one payment provider on Settl?+

Yes. You can connect several, and each payment method runs through the provider you choose for it — for example cards through Whop and iDEAL through Stripe. You can also put your card providers in order: if the primary errors or declines, the backup takes the payment.
