Can I customize my Shopify checkout without Shopify Plus?+
Only partly inside Shopify: all plans get the checkout editor and apps on the thank-you and order-status pages, while apps on the information, shipping and payment steps are Plus only. With Settl, buyers pay on your own branded checkout instead, which you can style fully on any plan.
How much does Shopify Plus cost compared to Settl?+
When we checked in October 2026, Shopify Plus started at $2,300 a month on a 3-year term or $2,500 on a 1-year term. Settl is €29,99 a month for the checkout, or €49,99 with tracking, on top of your current Shopify plan.
Is Settl a replacement for Shopify Plus?+
Only for the checkout. Plus is a full plan for large businesses with far more than checkout features. If you need those, Plus is the right choice; if you mainly want your own checkout, Settl gets you there on the plan you have.
