PayKickstart is a checkout, subscription billing and affiliate platform, mostly used for SaaS, courses and digital products. Shopify appears on its integrations page as a fulfilment destination: orders are pushed there, but the shop and checkout live in PayKickstart. Settl replaces the checkout of the Shopify store you already have. As a PayKickstart alternative it's for stores, not software.

Questions
How much does PayKickstart cost?+
Their August 2025 changelog announced one flat plan at $79 a month with all features and no platform transaction fees. Their pricing page didn't show prices to us in October 2026, so see their site. Settl is €29,99 a month for the checkout.
Does PayKickstart replace the Shopify checkout?+
No. It lists Shopify under fulfilment: buyers pay on PayKickstart and orders are sent to Shopify to ship. Settl starts from your Shopify cart and replaces the checkout step itself.
Does Settl handle subscriptions?+
Yes, subscribe & save on Stripe and Mollie, with renewals as Shopify orders, dunning and a buyer self-service page. For software licences or complex SaaS billing, PayKickstart is the more complete tool.
