Settl vs TikTok app
TikTok's official app is free and handles your TikTok ads setup and TikTok Shop. The WordPress plugin installs the TikTok pixel and Events API with a click. On Shopify, server-side sending isn't stated on the listing. This isn't like-for-like: Settl doesn't run TikTok Shop. It sends every paid order to TikTok's Events API with the saved click, and to seven other platforms. Keep the TikTok app for the shop side.

Pick TikTok app if…
- TikTok is your only channel and the app's data sharing gets your sales into Events Manager.

- You sell through TikTok Shop (keep the app for that either way).
Pick Settl if…
- You run TikTok next to Meta and Google and want all three fed the same way.
- You want ROAS per ad for TikTok next to your other channels.
- You're on WooCommerce, where the official plugin has low ratings.
